T-Pack® Portable Power
T-Packs® are robust, portable SLA (sealed lead acid) batteries designed for high-end video and audio equipment. They are completely maintenance-free; which means no liquids are required, no fluid level checks, refilling or leakage. T-Packs® are capable of 200 to 1000 charge-discharge cycles, depending on the depth of discharge and temperature. They operate in any position and over a wide temperature range -76°F to +140°F (-60°C to +60°C) making them the perfect companion for video professionals.
T-Packs® include the connectors needed by video professionals! You will find the highest quality, industry standard 4-pin XLR power outlets and cigarette lighter outlet(s) to power a wide variety of audio and video devices. All outlets are fuse protected to prevent surge.
T-Packs® are housed in Pelican® cases, an industry standard, legendary for strength and durability. Additionally, the batteries themselves are encased in high impact corrosion proof plastic. All outlets are painstakingly soldered and assembled to meet the demanding rigors of daily professional video production.
Forget everything you thought you knew about recharging batteries. T-Packs® are not affected by the “battery memory” you might have experienced with other batteries caused by a partial charge. In fact, recharging after a partial discharge results in a greater number of charge-discharge cycles than exhausting the battery completely prior to charging. Additionally, it is not detrimental to battery life to leave the T-Pack® connected to the T-Pack® charger for extended periods. This assures a healthy battery and that your T-Pack® is fully charged and ready to go!
The battery technology used in T-Packs® is the same as used in the medical field for some of the industries finest monitoring equipment and electric wheel chairs, assuring robust power you can count on!
T-Packs® will power a wide variety of 12-volt audio and video devices. Many cameras, tape decks, LCD monitors, pan-tilt heads, audio recorders, AC inverters and more will operate from T-Packs®. (It is important to carefully check your device for specifications to ensure compatibility. Refer to T-Pack® specification sheet for voltage specifications).
